Looks intense. Has opinions. Roasted dark enough to mean something but quiet enough to make you think. Guatemalan highlands doing their thing at 3am.
about Guatemala
Huehuetenango is Guatemala's most celebrated coffee region – high altitude, dry conditions, and a natural hot wind from the Tehuantepec plain that protects farms from frost. It produces some of the most complex coffees in Central America, with a natural brightness that survives even a dark roast.
the producer
Sourced from small farms in the highlands of Huehuetenango, where most producers own plots of 1–3 hectares. Coffee is shade-grown under native trees and hand-harvested during the January–March window. This lot was milled and exported through a direct partner in Huehuetenango City.

what people are saying
Derek R.
“3am. 7am. Doesn't matter. This is the only dark roast I've found that doesn't taste like burnt sacrifice. The black cherry thing is subtle but it's there.”
Kimberly S.
“Surprised by the complexity here. Usually dark means they're hiding bad beans. Not the case. There's something underneath the roast worth finding.”
Ty W.
“Grabbed this because of the name. The transparency tab sold me on the brand. The coffee itself is exceptional.”
Alexis C.
“French press at 1:15. Art print was a weird dog in a tuxedo. 10/10 experience. The coffee is also incredible.”
