The 2AM
Manifesto

Nobody knows
where Iddy Umpty
came from.

Some say it started with a bad cup of coffee and a worse idea. The kind of idea that only makes sense at 2am when the city's quiet and you're tired of everything being so polished, so curated, so safe. Others believe it appeared in a tiny studio where the lights stayed on past midnight and someone was trying to make something that didn't exist yet.

What people agree on: Iddy Umpty wasn't born in a boardroom. It wasn't planned. It was born when the ideas stopped flowing and the coffee appeared. And with every cup came a strange feeling. Like momentum returning. Like permission to begin.

Iddy Umpty isn't a person or a thing. It's the moment you decide to begin. When you Iddy Up!

the problem

Coffee got too quiet. Too clean. Everyone started obsessing over "subtle bergamot" and forgot that coffee is rocket fuel for outcasts, dreamers, and people making things that shouldn't work.

the solution

The coffee is expressive. The art is original. Both come from people who cared enough to do it right. We source directly from farmers, roast with intention, and partner with artists making work they stand behind. Not because it sounds good — because it is.

Coffee you'll remember. Art you'll actually keep.

No Pretentious Tasting Notes.

Just really good coffee. Here's why it matters:

Direct Trade

We know the farmers by name.

Fully Traceable

We know exactly where this came from. Ask us.

$

Transparent Pricing

No hidden margins. No BS.

Relationship Driven

Not a vendor relationship. An actual one.

Specialty Grade 80+

Specialty grade. Graders agreed, independently.

Farmers Paid Right

The person who grew this got paid like it matters. Because it does.

We roast coffees with real personality — so what's in the bag matches what's on it, and who's drinking it.

There's
Art
Inside.

Every bag ships with an original 3×5 art card from a real artist. Keep it. Trade it. Pin it to your wall. Some are rare. Some connect to specific roasts. All of them were made by someone who stayed up too late making things they weren't sure anyone would see.

Not kidding. Real art. Every bag.
